Learn about our mission, vision, and the values that drive our work
AFC-UATAF (Associação para o Fortalecimento Comunitário) is a non-profit organization legally established in Mozambique in 2004. For nearly two decades, we have been dedicated to strengthening vulnerable communities through integrated programs that improve the lives of children, youth, women, people with disabilities, displaced populations, and disadvantaged rural communities.
Our work focuses on the provinces of Nampula, Cabo Delgado, Niassa, Tete, and Zambézia, where poverty rates are among the highest in the country and access to basic services is limited.
"To strengthen community capacities through integrated programs for sustainable development."
"To be a sustainable, nationally recognized and regionally referenced organization in community development in the areas of sustainable development."
